Empowering Recovery: Ethics and Shared Decision-Making in Behavioral Health
This free, self-paced online training equips behavioral health professionals with the knowledge and skills to integrate ethical practice and collaborative decision-making into everyday care. Over approximately two hours, you’ll explore essential topics such as ethical principles in behavioral health, shared decision-making models, the role of peers in supporting person-centered care, and strategies for navigating complex or ambiguous situations. Through real-world scenarios and guided reflection, you’ll gain practical tools to strengthen therapeutic relationships, support client autonomy, and enhance recovery-oriented practice. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to earn 2 Continuing Education (CE) credits and download your certificate at no cost.
